Dear graduates,

On behalf of Mogadishu University, I congratulate you on your successful graduation achievement. You have realized your dreams and that of your parents through hard work and determination. Your achievement was the result of a combination of efforts, commitments, and sacrifices by your professors, administrators, your parents, and many others.

It is a great day to rejoice and celebrate your graduation victory as a sign of national pride and optimism, which in turn, is an indication of the positive academic direction that our country is heading. As such, your graduation achievement today is the realization of the first step of your future opportunities, and it is yours to secure and utilize for a better future.

As you graduate from this institution, I hope you will carry a message of hope, transformation, and cooperation with your peers and your countrymen, as well as serve your people and your country with sincerity and honesty. Because that is how you will contribute to your country’s reconstruction and development.

Over twenty years of service for this country, this university has demonstrated a track record of educational honesty, academic excellence, and institutional competence. We have time and again demonstrated to our students and other MU stakeholders that our educational competence and practice meet our academic objectives and goals.

In conclusion, you should keep in mind your role as an alumnus of this university, which is to spread the values of hope, integrity, and prosperity, and to keep your affiliation with the university by joining our alumni community.
